The CDT will recruit for students to work on PhD projects in collaboration with public and private sector partners to start in September 2018. These studentships will be announced here shortly.
The EPSRC Centre for Doctoral Training in Data Science is offering match-funding for up to three studentships for the 2018/2019 intake year. Match-funding of up to 50% will be awarded to successful academic supervisors who have a defined project with an industry partner. The remaining cost must be matched by an industry partner.
The match-funding is open to Home/EU studentships.
The total cost of a Home/EU studentship is £100k over a 4-year period (this includes student stipend and fees). Industry partners must contribute a minimum of 50% of the financial cost in order to be eligible. This works out to be just over £1k per month!
Applications or enquiries from potential partners should be made via firstname.lastname@example.org
The CDT's students also undertake internships with the CDT's public and private sector partners. Full list of CDT student internships
